CD Cover Front and Back

Here is my front and back CD covers. I designed them for a DJ trying to promote his mixes. The design is inspired by trance/house music so there is dark being contrasted with light colours and glows, kind of like how a DJ event or club would be for this genre.

Rubbish...

Thinking of rubbish, what comes to mind is just that.. another word for it, TRASH. So for this I just went to my back balcony and we have alot of bags of old unwanted stuff that we're getting rid of soon and it looks like a big pile of trash. I took a photo of it and enhanced on photoshop to make it look more severe than it really is (we're not that disgusting) :).



To the right is my layers used in Photoshop to come up with the final image. I used masking, gradients and changing of layer properties, overlays, shadows and glow effects, and also a bit of texturising.

Practice image cutting out objects from other images and putting into a seperate background image
